Music Infodumping Zone!!
HI! Here I will be talking about my main special interest right now- MUSIC!! I listen to music, a LOT. I think one year my Spotify minutes were 80k, and that's just what I listened to on there. I also listen to music on CDs as well as on youtube for albums that are not available on streaming sites.
I'm trying to grow my CD collection so then I don't have to rely on streaming so much, so my Spotify minutes probably will be decreasing as time goes on tbh. That's why I started tracking the music I listen to moreso by album than streaming minutes on a website called Rate Your Music. It's this whole database that's been around since 2000 and a pretty similar concept to Letterboxd, it's UI could be better but it gets the job done!!
So far since March-ish? I've rated 200 separate albums I've listened to, and I think I'm gonna be leaning towards that more for the forseeable future. Anyways, here on my website I thought I'd talk about some artists and albums that have stood out to me and why I believe they're so important!
